Warranty

Any defective blank should be returned, at your expense, to Dorset Fishing Rods.

Upon careful examination, any blank found to be defective will be replaced.

All returned blanks must have a RETURN CONTACT NUMBER, this can be obtained by contacting Dorset Fishing Rods prior to return postage.
To receive your 'RCN', contact Dorset Fishing Rods on 01305 850431 or mail@dorsetfishingrods.co.uk.
It is necessary to return all sections for warranty consideration.
IMPORTANT: Please remove any components you wish to keep. All rods returned to us will be discarded.
Please include a £10.00 Handling Fee (international customers, please call before return) per blank replacement payable by check or paypal.

Due to the nature of the sport of angling certain restrictions are in place for component warranty. Saltwater usage on equipment should be cleaned and washed after use. We will not garantee items that have mistreated, abused or not cleaned and cared for. Rods and components that have come into contact with saltwater or other corrosive substances should be cleaned,dried and stored for best longitivity of the product. 

This warranty does NOT cover the following:
Consequential or incidental damages such as the loss of fishing reel, components or rod customizing and assembly
Damage due to misuse, neglect or normal wear and tear
Damage caused to blank during rod assembly or resulting from improper assembly, such as over-tight thread wraps
Additions or modifications to the blank such as shortening, sectioning or tiptop sizing
Any blank built into a rod for which it was not intended, such as a fly rod blank built into a spinning rod
